Man Saves Kitten Glued To Road-.-.

When he noticed something in the center of the highway, Chuck Hawley from Silverton, Oregon was driving to job. He was heartbroken to see a small kitten in the center of the street as he approached. Others just ignored the kitten rather than stopped helping.

“I drove to job and saw vehicles passing over something on the highway in front of me and realized that it was a kitten sitting upright shaking like a leaf,” Chuck told Cats.

The kitten appeared to be stuck and unable to move. Other vehicles were simply maneuvering around the helpless kitten instead of helping. Chuck refused to leave the scared kitten in the middle of the road. He put his hazard lights on and blocked the lane, so he could get out and save the kitten.

He picked up the kitten and realized it was covered in glue. Which monster would glue the street with a kitten?! “She was humid, freezing, and sticking to the street literally,” he said.

He removed the kitten from the pavement slowly and with extreme caution. The kitten shivered so he put her in his jacket and headed for his car. Once inside the vehicle they were safe, he realized the paws of the kitten were tender.

“When I got her off the street, she was too sticky to really move, but when she was washed up, my shoulder was where she wished to be,” Chuck says.

He brought the kitten to Silver Creek Animal Clinic to have the remaining glue removed and her paws treated with mineral oil. She was finally safe and she thanked her hero with unlimited purring and meowing. Chuck already knew that he was going to keep the sweet tabby. “We are definitely keeping her. My wife has named her Sticky.”

The kitten, 5 weeks old, rapidly adapted to her new home. She rapidly went to the black lab of the family, Jojo. The family spoke of adopting a kitten recently, but destiny came in and they discovered Sticky. “I feel like I’ve done the ordinary thing about the human being, and everyone should stop helping her,” Chuck said. “She’s a beautiful fan and a purrer. She was sleeping last night between my wife and me.

Thank you for saving the adorable tabby. You are a hero! “She went from the worst luck ever to the luckiest kitten in the world.”
